Importing addresses from TAB files

Direct Mail can import addresses from TAB files. TAB files are text files containing a table of data, formatted in rows and columns and separated with a tab.

To import addresses from a TAB file:

  1. Select the group you want to import addresses into.

  2. Choose Addresses > Import...

  3. Click the Import From pop-up menu and choose Text File Records (CSV).

  4. Click Choose... and select the file you want to import addresses from.

  5. Click the Field Delimiter pop-up menu and select TAB.

  6. If the TAB file has a header row, click the "Source file has header row" checkbox.

  7. In the Column table, choose which fields you want to import.

  8. Click Import.
