Including pictures in messages

Rich text messages can include pictures inline with body of the message. If you are sending a plain text or HTML message, pictures can only be added as attachments.

Here are ways to include a picture:

  • Drag the picture you want to include from the Finder (or another application) into the body of the message.
  • Copy the picture you want to include from the Finder (or another application), switch to Direct Mail, then paste it into the body.
